OUR STORY

One little cup. One big story.

As a Centre Manager in the busy world of childcare, it’s a memory of my Nan and Great Nan at Gympie that often comes to mind for me, especially when I enjoy a quiet cuppa.

I often remember Nan and Great Nan sitting on the verandah of their country house sharing a cup of tea with me.

Of course it was hand measured tea leaves in the special tea pot. A hand-crocheted tea cosy on top. But always my favourite part was the chance to choose which one of the special china cups I wanted for my tea.

And it wasn’t just a cup, it was always with a matching saucer.

Whether just visiting or staying over, every cup of tea was not only a moment to sit, slow down and reflect, it was sharing a moment of appreciation and love.

I’m putting my favourite china cup (and matching saucer) in the staff room for all to share. It might help a team member to connect with a happy memory of their own.

Refresh, revive, breathe.

We’re looking forward to meeting you so we can create new memories together.
